Just finished reading a sports autobiography, Playing to Win by SirConrad Hunte, a West Indian cricketeer of the late 50s and 60s. I liketo read sports autobiographies, since they are all about winning! Thisis a different autobiography in the sense that the book is notentirely about cricket but also about his work with the MRA movement.Conrad was one of the finest opening batsman of his era. Playingalongside the greats like the 3Ws, viz. Walcott, Worrell, Weekes, GarySobers, Wesley Hall, Charlie Griffith, Gerry Alexander, this bookbrought back memories of that era when the West Indian cricket startedits ascendancy.
