This book argues against the points made by scientific atheism and the medieval doctrines of orthodox Christianity faiths, putting forward an argument for a new form of Theist Gnosticism which the author has named Gnostic Reasonism.
The first section offers arguments against both dead religious doctrine proffered by organized religions and arguments against disbelief in God based on dead religious doctrines. The second section offers arguments for a natural evolved God based on Brane cosmology and particle physics, the third section offers a modern non supernatural Gnostic interpretation of Jesus and who he is and what his purpose is, the fourth section covers how to commune with God, whom the author states is not Yahweh/Jehovah, through Jesus the demigod, whom the author states is not the Hebrew Christ/Messiah and the final section debunks spirituality, divination and ideas of an afterlife. This is a radical book and stands firmly between the warring ideological and intellectual binary polarities of orthodox religions and scientific atheism.Ultimately its an argument for the existence of God, but not the God of any holy book.
Its a theory and an argument based on post enlightenment thinking. Written in an attempt to refresh and revive the concept of God based on what human beings have discovered since the enlightenment.
